Advanced Analytics: Create Custom Reports and Turn Your Gym Data into Actionable Insights

Advanced Analytics helps gym owners and operators explore, understand, and share their business data without spending hours building manual reports. With Advanced Analytics, you can create custom dashboards and reports using your FLiiP and RISE data

Where can I find Advanced Analytics?

You can access the module by going to:

Analytics > Self-Serve

Advanced Analytics is available only on the Peak and Enterprise plans.

What can you do with Advanced Analytics?

Full demo :

Create custom dashboards and reports

Build the exact dashboards and reports you need for your gym. Start from a blank dashboard or customize an existing one by selecting the metrics, fields, filters, and calculations that are relevant to your business.

When using AI, you can also create a complete dashboard from a single prompt. Describe the business question or use case you want to monitor, and FLiiP AI can generate a starting point for your dashboard.

You can create reports to monitor areas such as:

  • Revenue and sales performance

  • Member growth and retention

  • Attendance and check-ins

  • Memberships and renewals

  • Services and products

  • Staff or location performance

  • Custom KPIs specific to your business

No developer or data team is required.

Ask questions about your data with AI

When AI is enabled, you can ask questions about your gym in any language and receive answers based on the data available in FLiiP and RISE.

You can also ask the AI which data is available before creating a dashboard or report. This can help you understand which fields, metrics, and information you can use.

For example, you could ask:

  • “Which location generated the most revenue this month?”

  • “How many members cancelled their memberships last quarter?”

  • “What was our best revenue week this year?”

  • “Which members have not visited recently?”

  • “How does this month compare with the previous month?”

You can ask follow-up questions to investigate a result further and add useful insights to an existing or new dashboard or report.

Get AI summaries and insights

AI can analyze a dashboard or report and summarize the most important information for you. This makes your reports easier to understand, even if you are not comfortable working with data.

Use AI summaries to quickly identify:

  • Important changes in your results

  • Positive or negative performance trends

  • Metrics that require your attention

  • Differences between two periods

  • Potential areas for follow-up

Every time an AI summary is generated, it consumes AI tokens. This applies each time you request a new summary, even if the dashboard or report already exists.

For more information about token usage and costs, see the token pricing information available below the Advanced Analytics module.

Manage multiple locations

Advanced Analytics supports multi-site businesses and franchises.

You can:

  • View data for all locations together

  • Filter a dashboard or report to a specific location

  • Compare locations using the same metrics and time period

  • Identify which locations are performing above or below expectations

  • Analyze consolidated or location-specific results

Access to location data continues to follow each team member’s existing permissions.

Schedule reports and alerts

Stay informed without having to log in and check your dashboards manually.

You can schedule reports to be sent automatically to your inbox or to selected collaborators according to the frequency you choose, such as:

  • Daily

  • Weekly

  • Monthly

Automated reports can be delivered by email in PNG, PDF, XLS or CSV format.

You can also configure alerts to notify you when a key metric reaches or crosses a defined threshold.

For example, you could receive an alert when:

  • Daily check-ins fall below a specific number

  • Revenue is below target

  • A location’s performance changes significantly

  • A membership or attendance metric requires attention

Who can access and share dashboards and reports?

Advanced Analytics is available to Owners and Master Owners by default. Access can also be granted to other roles, depending on your platform permissions.

Important: Anyone who has access to Advanced Analytics can access all the data available for the locations they are authorized to access. Before granting access to another role, make sure the user should be able to view the full set of data associated with those locations.

Default dashboard and report visibility

When you create a new dashboard, it is saved by default in My documents (A). A dashboard saved in My documents (A) is only linked to the user who created it and is not automatically available to the rest of the team.

If you want to make a dashboard or report available to everyone who has access to Advanced Analytics, move it to one of the existing shared folders "Hub" (B).

For example, if you move a report to the Sales (C) folder, it will be available in Sales (D) to the users who have access to Advanced Analytics and the relevant location.

Shared dashboards and reports are available in read-only mode, so collaborators can view the information without changing the report configuration.

Plan availability and AI costs

Access to the Advanced Analytics module is included in the Peak and Enterprise plans.

AI features are optional. You can create and use dashboards and reports without AI.

When you use AI-powered features, token-based usage fees may apply according to your agreement with FLiiP. This includes AI-powered features such as asking questions about your data and generating AI summaries.

For more information, see the token pricing information available below the Advanced Analytics module.

Data freshness

Advanced Analytics uses data from FLiiP and RISE. Data freshness depends on the type of information being analyzed.

In general:

  • Aggregated metrics may be refreshed daily.

  • Granular or transactional data may be refreshed hourly or more frequently.

  • The exact refresh frequency may vary depending on the dataset.

For the most accurate result, make sure you select the appropriate date range and filters when building or analyzing a dashboard or report.

Getting started

To start using Advanced Analytics:

  1. Go to Analytics > Self-Serve.

  2. Choose whether you want to start with an existing dashboard or report, or create a new one.

  3. Select the metrics, data fields, filters, and calculations you want to use.

  4. If you want to use AI, ask a question in natural language or ask the AI which data is available.

  5. Save the dashboard or report for future use.

  6. Place it in the appropriate existing shared folder if you want to make it available to your staff.

  7. Schedule the report or configure an alert to automatically receive important updates.

Advanced Analytics helps you move from manually searching through reports to quickly understanding what is happening in your business and deciding what to do next.
