Why is the number of active members different depending on where I check (Analytics, Rise, or Member Management)?

You might notice different totals for your active members when checking in Rise, FLiiP Analytics, or the Members tab. Here's why:

📊 Where do the numbers come from?

Section	What it shows
FLiiP > Analytics > Memberships	Total active memberships, based on status and billing, regardless of recent visits.
Rise > Active Members	Based on the same logic as Analytics: active memberships, even if no recent visit.
FLiiP > Member Management > Filter: Recurring + In Progress	Includes: • Active paid contracts • Planned contracts that haven’t started yet • Some stopped contracts that still have recurring status
FLiiP > Member Management > Filter: Active	Members with an active contract and a recent visit
FLiiP > Filter: Inactive	Members with an active contract but no recent visit

✅ What number should I trust?

If you’re looking for the actual number of current paying members, the most reliable data is in:

Analytics > Memberships
Or in Rise > Active Members

These exclude:

Future/pending contracts
Stopped contracts
Members who haven’t visited recently (but still have a valid contract)

🧠 Example: If Member Management shows 178, but Analytics shows 170 — that’s because Member Management includes future and stopped contracts, not just currently valid ones.
